13 Best TV Shows to Binge This Winter

If you're like me, you're getting a little tired of winter right about now. Something has to fill your chill time, and it can't be evening walks, yard work, or pool trips.

These 13 TV shows might just be the trick - they're binge-worthy, captivating, and entertaining (I can vouch for most!) Check out our top 13 binge-worthy TV shows to watch this winter below:

    1. Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso Binge Worthy TV Shows

I have yet to watch this one, but I've heard amazing things about it! Ted Lasso, an American football coach, is hired to coach a European soccer team - and the story is about his funny, heartwarming, and inspiring journey. If you're looking to binge something lighthearted but not completely brainless, this show is perfect.

    Where to Watch: Apple TV+

    2. Ozark

    Ozark Binge Worthy TV Shows

Ozark is intense, captivating, and incredibly binge-worthy. The story is about a family who moves to the Ozarks after Jason Bateman's character gets tangled in an elaborate and dark money laundering scheme. The family is forced to come together in order to survive, making it a pretty intense but gripping story. Binge-worthy indeed.

    Where to Watch: Netflix

    3. Black Mirror

Black Mirror Binge Worthy TV Shows

If you've watched Black Mirror before, you might be surprised to see it featured here. If you haven't, buckle up. Each episode is stand-alone social commentary that usually features pretty disturbing themes - but they always get you thinking. Definitely worth a watch if you want something that will make your mind spin. (Avoid the first episode though, it's pretty disturbing and doesn't represent the rest of the episodes very well).

Where to Watch: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video

    4. Andor/The Mandalorian

    Binge Worthy Star Wars Shows

I haven't watched Andor yet, but I can say The Mandalorian was some of my favorite Star Wars content to date. With a huge budget, Disney has made these shows visually stunning, so if you're already a Star Wars fan you'll appreciate the features. And the story in The Mandalorian was fantastic - a show I've binged twice before!

    Where to Watch: Disney+

    5. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Binge Worthy Show

Time to feature the funny stuff: this show is great if you love simple comedy and celebrity features. The show is about Jerry Seinfeld, driving around with a new celebrity for each episode, sipping coffee and talking about life. The content of their conversations is funny, entertaining, and easy to binge. If you're looking for a brainless show to pass the time with a few laughs, this is a great option.

    Where to Watch: Netflix

    6. Making a Murderer

Making a Murderer Binge Worthy TV Shows

I binged this documentary when it came out, and the mystery gripped me! In jail for 20 years for a crime he didn't commit, Steven Avery sues Mantiwoc County (WI). But soon after he's finally released from jail, he's accused for a different murder and sentenced again. This show might be a few years old, but if you haven't seen it, you should. It's a mystery that will definitely tug at your heartstrings.

    Where to Watch: Netflix

    7. Schitt's Creek

    Schitts Creek Binge Worthy Show

My current favorite comedy, Schitt's Creek is a story about how a wealthy family loses almost their money and has to move to a small, country town motel. Their experiences in the town as they attempt to integrate with the townsfolk are hilarious and entertaining. Definitely worth the watch if you want something funny and brainless.

Where to Watch: Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, Apple TV+

    8. Breaking Bad

    Breaking Bad Binge Worthy Show

You've probably heard of this wildly popular show for a few years now, but if you haven't already see it I'd add it to your list. The story follows a high school teacher who gets involved in drug dealing after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. It's entertaining, dark, and definitely binge-worthy.

Where to Watch: Netflix, Redbox., Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+

    9. Murderville

    Murderville Binge Worthy TV Show

Murderville is a classic whodunnit mystery show - but with a twist. Will Arnett acts as lead investigator in each crime episode, but the other celebrities invited on set aren't given a script - and have to improvise on scene. You'll see some of your favorite actors flounder on screen as they face ridiculous scenarios within the show. Definitely worth binging if you have Netflix!

    Where to Watch:Netflix

    10. 1899

    1899 Binge Worthy Show

I haven't seen this one yet, but I've heard it's perfectly dark and enthralling. It follows immigrants sailing from Europe to New York who get wrapped up in a mind-bending mystery on ship. It feels authentic with multiple languages, and if you like a serious show this one is a great option.

    Where to Watch: Netflix

    11. Pepsi, Where's My Jet?

Pepsi Where's My Jet Binge Worthy Show

This documentary is super intriguing! It follows the true story of how a young man discovered a loophole in a Pepsi campaign warranting him a free jet, which caused an epic court battle that completely transformed advertising. It's the perfect mix of crazy and interesting, definitely worth binging.

    Where to Watch: Netflix

    12. Community

    Community Binge Worthy TV Show

Community is one of my favorite shows, and if you're a fan of The Office or Parks & Rec, you'll love it! I had a hard time getting through the first few episodes, but once the foundation is laid it's pretty hilarious. The basic premise is how 6 friends start a study group at a community college and become close friends through various strange adventures. So worth the watch.

Where to Watch: Netflix, Hulu, Redbox., Vudu, Amazon Prime Video

    13. This Is A Robbery: The World's Biggest Art Heist

This Is A Robbery: The World's Biggest Art Heist Binge Worthy TV Show

I haven't watched this documentary yet, but I've heard good things! If you're a fan of unsolved mysteries, this will be super interesting to watch. It details the events of the greatest art heist in history where two unknown thieves break into a Boston museum and make off with 13 works and $500 million. If you like a good mystery, this option is perfect.
