    Immune System Boosters

COVID-19 – ever heard of it?

I’m not here to answer any questions about COVID-19 or to tell you how to wash your hands – chances are you’ve already heard the word “coronavirus” multiple times today. Instead, I thought it could be beneficial to gently remind you of some easy immune-boosting practices that are overall good for your health – but especially in the world we are living in right now.

Immune Boosting: avoid excessive alcohol consumption

      1. Get enough sleep. Easier said than done - but very, very important.
      2. Eat better. Yes, there are tons of expensive vitamins on the shelves that will help boost your immune system, but the best way to get vitamins is through whole foods. Immune boosting foods include: citrus, green tea, yogurt (good for your gut, too!), spinach, sweet potatoes, garlic, ginger and honey.
      3. Exercise. Regular, moderate exercise helps circulate your immune cells, so keep it up!
      4. Get some sun. Vitamin D y’all! Colorado gets sunshine over 300 days of the year (shoot, I shouldn't have told everyone), and if you are lucky enough to get some sun where you are, soak it in a little bit more.
      5. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. Sorry about that.
      6. Stress less. What’s there to be stressed about? The tanking stock market? A deadly virus sweeping across the world? Sleeves that are too short?
Just kidding about that last one – we can help – shop Long Sleeve Tees in Tall and Extra Tall sizes here

So whether you are in a tizzy about this pandemic or just trying to lead a healthy lifestyle, it’s important to remember and take action and focus on the things we have control over.
